On (date), CFI Financial Group welcomed Dr. Demetrios Zamboglou as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer. Demetrios brings a wealth of industry experience and knowledge to CFI Financial Group and has been involved in the retail FX sector since 2005. 

Demetrios Zamboglou’s Career Highlights 

Dr. Demetrios Zamboglou is joining CFI Financial Group’s management team having worked in a wide range of global fintech companies in both operations and C-level positions. These include: 

• Advisor for Genesis ‎Vision, an international firm which operates a decentralised trust management platform ‎built on blockchain technology and smart contracts. 
• Held an analogous position at ThePower.io, a blockchain startup since June 2018.
• Worked at a UK-based decentralised bank BABB.
• Served as Chief Operating Officer at ICON Capital Reserve.
• served as European CEO and global chief business development officer at Swiss blockchain startup Lykke Corp. 

Dr. Demetrios Zamboglou earned his PhD degree in Behavioural Finance from King’s College London. Although he has held a wide range of blockchain-related positions with global companies, Dr. Zamboglou has stated that he is much more at home with FX and CFD roles. This is due to his more than 15 years of experience in trading, risk management, and operations.
